About Sunshine and Phil Keddie

During an apprenticeship at a local Devon firm in 1981, I grew a passion for property which has continued to this day. I have moved with the ever-shifting property market over the years, gaining my experience and an in depth knowledge in lettings. Running a successful local letting company (Sunshine Rentals) for over twenty years until selling it in 2016, has allowed me to concentrate my efforts on pursuing my desire to work closely with landlords keeping them safe and helping them to achieve great things.

In 2017, I was honoured for my service to the property industry within ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents) and became president of ARLA Propertymark between 2019 and 2020. This opportunity gave me a fresh insight into the complexity of the Private Rental Sector (PRS) and helped me to hone my efforts to make life easier for landlords.

In recent years property, and in particular the rental market, has become more and more complicated with a vast increase in legislation and regulation, which landlords have borne the brunt of.

My role is to help private landlords understand their responsibilities to their property in a manner which suits their individual requirements. As a landlord problems and issues are a cry for help and I will be there to assist you in the management of your own properties. My aim is to simply improve standards throughout the rental sector, alleviating any stress for a simpler life, whilst achieving safer working practices. With this in mind to this end the Landlord would gain a better understanding of the industry requirements, and ultimately aim to earn a greater profit.
